We are excited to announce that, if audition numbers are as high as in the past, we will be selecting 2 District Jazz Bands this year!! 

Get your kids signed up to audition! 

There will be more opportunity than ever before!

• The hope is that this will allow more of our district’s students the opportunity to work with a clinician as well as a performance opportunity.  This should prove to grow jazz interest and education in our district.  
• There will be a District Jazz I and District Jazz II.  The same number of students will be eligible to audition for State Jazz as have been in past years.  

 

Director/ Clinicians for the 2022-2023 Jazz Bands:

District Jazz I – Dr. Tommy Poole from Oklahoma State University

District Jazz II – Mr. John Evans from Webb City

 

District Jazz Rehearsal/ Concert Info:

*All rehearsals and performances will be at Parkview High School

*Rehearsal day: February 17th, 8:30am – 4:30pm

*Performance day:  February 18th, 7:00pm
